# AI Companies Abound, But Some Are Shit

I made a mistake. I thought I was re-upping my Midjourney subscription and saw that DaVinci AI was associated (probably because they use Midjourney in some way) with Midjourney. So stupidly I paid for a year of DaVinci AI and later found out two things:

1. It sucks!
2. It’s not Midjourney proper. It uses the API and really poorly.

Asked them for a refund. Guess what! Radio silence. 😵‍💫😡💩
