The book HotType by Jeff Jarvis is out on the 20th of August and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

I’m a big fan of Jeff’s books and have read, I think, all of them.

I first heard of Jeff when he joined the TWiT network to be on the This Week In Google podcast (now Intelligent Machines).

The guy is so smart and a prolific writer. His blog, [BuzzMachine](https://buzzmachine.com/), is also a great read!

***Update 8/14/2026:*** *The book came early and I had to dive in immediately. There is something about Jeff’s books that make the non-obvious and often overlooked incredibly interesting. Not to mention fun to read. A neat feature of his book is that he has a character list after the introduction, so the reader can refer back to who’s who in this story.*
