# Star Wars VII – Some What Full Of Spoilers

I finally saw Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens. It was a decent movie, by itself. Though there was a bit too much rehashing of Episode IV a New Hope.

The new characters are interesting, and Han getting killed by his son (with Leia) Kylo Ren , which was an interesting twist. I loved the new droid BB-8 and it was nice to see the main protagonists be a black man and a strong woman. But other than that, I don’t see what people like Scott Johnson, Tom Merritt and the other tech illuminaries see in it that I don’t. I think I might need to watch it again to see if I missed anything that makes it less fan-service and more original. I think the hype was a little bit overkill for what we got.

I hope, it was more of a bridge to VIII and IX and X and not reflective of what the next episodes are going to be like.
