BarCamp Philly 14 (2023) A Recap

Today was BarCamp Philly (the 14th edition).

Once again it was held at the Penn’s Wharton School’s Jon Huntsman Hall.

It’s a beautiful building and a great facility to have an event as big as BarCamp Philly.

The fun thing about BarCamp is that none of the talks are scheduled before hand and the community votes on which are the best and what they want to hear about. It’s really special.

It was a great turn out with hundreds of people showing up.

Topic, as to be expected, were extremely varied. My friend Nicole did a crocheting talk and another friend David Dylan Thomas talked about bias and how dangerous the idea of engagement is to society.

If you’ve never gone, you need to come next year!
