Went to USPS in Dublin, PA to get passports all squared away.
We were going to do a passport cards, then heard that it’s better to do a passport book because it’s good for longer and if we came back later to do a booklet it’ll cost more money, be more of a hassle and the card would be cancelled out. So we would be wasting money if we just got a card.
So me and the wife got passport books and the kid, since he’s 11 and his passport book/card is only good for 5 years, a card because we’re only going to Canada at the end of July.
I’ve got to make another trip up to that area sometime, it turns out I know a lot of business friends in Ontario, Canada.
The strangest thing is that the USPS clerk said we didn’t need to submit as much as the form seemed to say we needed to. Here’s hoping it was all done correctly.
