Five Years Since The Massacre At The Tree Of Life Synagogue
I remember where I was when I heard the horrible news. I was standing at the McNeill Science Center, at what was then called, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (it’s now St. Joseph’s), talking to a colleague at WordCamp Philly. WordCamp Philly is a regional conference about all things WordPress. When I heard,

Israel Has The Right To Exist… So Does Palestine
Israel has the right to exist as does Palestine. But this war and overall lack of Peace is NEVER going end if extremist elements on both sides aren’t taken out of power. What Hamas did was beyond abhorrent and horrid in every way. Israel has the right to defend itself. But Israel shouldn’t go about

It’s Not Getting Any Better
What’s going on in Israel and Palestine is out of control. Hamas needs to be taken out. But Israel doesn’t need to take out all of Gaza to do this. I’m hurting from what happened in Israel to the innocent Israelis. But I’m hurting for the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank who are

It’s Time To Step Back And Take A Breath
It’s been a hell of a week. My heart aches for all the lost lives in Israel and in Gaza. How could something this coordinated by a terrorist group be carried out against a country with such a strong top-notch national security infrastructure. How could have Shin Bet or Mossad missed this? Something seems off.

I’m Not Heartless
I stand with Israel. But that doesn’t mean I like Netanyahu or what’s been going on with Palestinians. Do I wish there was a way to bring Hamas to justice without bombing the shit out of Gaza? YES!!!!!! But, Hamas NEEDS to be brought to justice and be eradicated. Hamas’ goal isn’t to just get

The Tide Of Sympathy Is So Fickle
Well that didn’t take long. I’m seeing more and more support of Palestine coming out after the worst atrocity against Jews since the Holocaust was perpetrated a week ago tomorrow. Look I feel for the Gazans I really do. But it’s not all on Israel to open up humanitarian corridors to let innocents out. Egypt

My Heart Aches
My heart aches for Israel and the Israeli people. The outpouring of support from my community of colleagues and friends online has been imense and very much appreciated. It’s a tough time for Jews all over. It’s a tough time realizing there is so much hate against a group of people who have been slaughtered

At the Jewish Business Network Event Today
I went to the Jewish Business Network event at Vinyl in Philly today. Israel sits heavy on my heart, but I wanted to be with the community. I wrapped Tefillin for the first time in my life (I’m not religious), but when the Rabbi asked me to do a Mitzvah (a good deed) and do

Israel… Gaza… Hamas… Terror
It’s been a few days since Hamas attacked Israel and killed around 1200 Israelis (*latest estimate that I hear). From what I read these terrorists were indiscriminate. They killed everyone in their sight. Men, Women, Children… BABIES. It’s absolutely horrifying. I’ve also seen that in pure size/ratio this attack on Israel, based on population, is

Walking In Support Of Gaza Right Now Is Cheering Terrorism
I’m so disturbed this morning to see a “former” acquaintance of mine pretty much say that the terror attacks on Israel were justified because of how the Palestinians have been treated by Israel. To that person. Terrorism is NEVER OKAY. Get that through your thick skull. More than 700 innocent Israelis and foreigners were killed
