Yesterday my alma mater, the University of Delaware, played Penn State in Happy Valley at PSU’s Beaver Stadium.
It was the first time the two teams ever met. PSU is Division 1 and UD is Division 1 AA. So a subdivision.
And regardless of how strong the Fighting Blue Hens’ roster seems this year, they were no match for the Nittany Lions. At I have to say it was predictable. They two different levels. So kind of not really that fair.
Regardless, it was fun to see UD on NBC’s Peacock streaming service. And the one touch down scored by UD was a 66 yarder. So that was pretty fun to see.
Anyhow, I’m glad I watch, though it was hard to watch. LOL
