Tomorrow is WordPress Accessibility Day 2024. It’s a 24 hour, yes 24 hour, online conference all about accessibility on the Web and in WordPress.
It kicks off at 14:45 UTC, or for us East Coasters is 10:45am, and runs for 24 hours into Thursday!
I plan on catch as much of it as I can. Though, regrettably, I have some pressing work stuff to do as well. And there’s the little thing called… Sleep. 😜
The opening remarks are going to be given by one of my favorite WordPressers, Bet Hannon the CEO of AccessiCart. She is also the Board Treasurer, Sponsor & Financial lead for the organization too.
Bet lives accessibility and is such a fun person as well.
The schedule is jammed with great sessions. And best of all it’ll all be live streamed and recorded.
You can still register to attend for FREE here. I donated $25 to offset what I could for my participation. But do what you can do and are most comfortable with.
Accessibility is a big deal and needs to be an even bigger deal going forward.
