Steam, the game distribution market place, has a new game ban policy.
I see why some of these games are raising flags, but I also get really annoyed when payment processors decide what people can and can’t buy.
If I want to look at naughty stuff, that isn’t breaking the law where I’m at, let me!
I’m a web designer and a few years ago I was designing a site for a CBD company, they weren’t even dealing with THC, and finding a payment processor that would touch their products was hard. Now it’s not as big an issue. Probably because Cannabis is legal almost everywhere.
I’m just sick of these corporate puritanical tyrants deciding what I can pay for online. Come on! We’re in 2025 for crying out loud!
Ironically, I don’t even use Steam that much. Still gets my goat.
