In my opinion, except for going to a WordPress conference (WordCamp US) where everyone was using Twitter/X, Mastodon has been a great alternative.
During the horrific events of October 7th in Israel through today, I’ve been able to keep up with everything that I’ve needed to in that region with relative ease.
I’ve also been able to keep up with the tech community more and more via Mastodon lately.
So let’s keep going. Forget BlueSky and Threads.net, Mastodon is where it’s at. At least in my opinion.
