Yesterday we went to Hershey, PA to see Chocolate World and go to the Hershey Lodge. It was a yearly tradition before the pandemic, and now we went back. On the way there we stopped at Sheetz, which is a poor take on Wawa. But I have to admit the ham sandwich I had that had quite a bit of fixings on a pretzel roll was pretty yum. But the regular hoagie that my wife got was gross. So Wawa is still better.
There are these Hershey Statues at the Hershey Park entrance where we get pictures of Ilan every time we go. My goodness he’s grown quite a bit. He’s almost as talk as my wife.
We had a blast yesterday, but the kiddo was already a little sick and just got worse. So we end up coming home early today. We didn’t even make it to the awesome indoor waterpark at the lodge.
But yesterday was fun. It was nice to do something fun with the family.
I hope the kid feels better soon though. He’s miserable right now.
