Update: Cloudflare is back online after more than 2 hrs out of commission! Yikes!
This morning (at least in the US) Cloudflare a major infrastructure company that secures a good portion of the Web with its services and tools went down. This brought a big portion of the web to a standstill.
We’re still waiting for them to fix it.
This just goes to shows how fragile the Web really is. My God! Amazon Web Services’ east coast data center goes down and takes a good swath of the Net with it. Now Cloudflare.
Scary.
I guess patience is needed and that’s a virtue. 🙄🤪

@seth There is no better wake-up call for me, and likely many others, when something like this happens, because it highlights when you've become over-reliant on one provider. The irony is that there are enough alternative providers out there to avoid such a catastrophe, we just have to make a little effort, spend a little more, and place a little trust in them, but doing that would be a step in the right direction, and a victory for the web.
