WordCamp US 2023 Here I Come!

It’s been since 2016 that I’ve attended a WordCamp US event.

I’ve been to local WordCamps but none as fun, vibrant and energizing as a WordCamp US event. The last one I went to was the second-ever WordCamp US which was at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. It was there in 2015 as well and the kinks were more worked out that year.

I had been going to WordCamp Philly every year since it started in 2008 or 2009. I have since went to the WordCamp Montclair (NJ) one as well. They’re all great, but like I said, the energy at a big WordCamp is like nothing else.

This year WordCamp is being held at the National Harbor just south of DC, so it’s just a 3-4 hour drive. Not a flight.

This year, I’m also not volunteering. I decided that I want to get as much out of it as possible so that means planning ahead and getting the absolute most out of every minute.

A Family Trip

Well not exactly a family trip, but Meredith and Ilan are going to come with and explore DC while I’m at the conference. I’m excited for them.
