Writing Down Your Process
When you have a reoccurring project or task, you might not think you have to write it down. And you might remember all the steps. But I’m here to tell you that writing it down helps you streamline it and make it better.
I do a bi-weekly podcast called Digital Marketing Dive. The production turnaround isn’t that long after the show is recorded. But when it comes to promotion, that’s where writing down the process has helped me.
I used to fly by the seat of my pants when it came to promoting the podcast. Though the practice of writing down the process, I’ve see that I’ve often missed certain steps that would be good to do in order to get the most promotion possible.
