I’m a big fan of these new-fangled NFC/QR code business cards. Their are so many vendors out there, I’ve tried three.
I first tried V1ce, to be honest the name doesn’t really help them. But it worked decent. But people were reluctant to download my card coming from a site called V1ce for obvious reasons. So that card went into the drawer.
I then tried mTap.io but their interface and tools were a bit overwhelming and hard to use. The potential is there but the interface needs work. Also the integrations weren’t where I wanted them. I know the founder and talked to him about why he wasn’t immedately integrating with Zapier. He said he wanted to directly integrate with CRM systems. I think that was a noble idea, but people want Zapier integration. A big miss in my opinion.
I then tried LINQ and so far I’m really like it. I can’t wait to take my NFC card and QR code to a networking event and giving a true test. But the integratioin with Zapier was key for me. Also the interface on the Web and phone is much more refined.
In the end these NFC/QR code cards are great because they save $$$ on business cards that just end up in the trash and can be Zapped to any type of CRM for quick & easy follow up.
I’m a fan and I see quite a few people using them now.
