It was only a matter of time before the HVAC (28 yrs old) decided to take a dump.
Right now there’s a leak in the A/C condenser somewhere.
I’m hoping that the HVAC company can find the leak when the come out vs. having to buy a whole new system.
Ahhhhhh, the joys of home ownership!
This has been the season for shit this house going. Our 14 year old water heater took a crap earlier in the summer too.
Update:
It’s getting stuffy in the basement office. The A/C coil is leaking, we found where the leak is, so the A/C is off and it’s 80 degrees (F) outside. We have have the house fan going and a bunch of standing fans going.
I think I’ll need to bring one down to the office soon since there’s not much circulation.
Good thing it’s been cool at night so we can have the windows open.
The kid isn’t going to be happy with how hot it is in the house between 72 and 75 (f) but there’s nothing we can do until we get the coil replaced. And that’s if we can get the coil replaced. It’s an old system. Here’s hoping we don’t need to do a whole new system.
Say what you will about Artificial Intelligence. It has helped me build out tools and features for sites that I normally wouldn’t be able to do or have the budget to hire someone to do.
Keep in mind lots of these are small projects that if I spent the time, I probably could figure out but not something that I could fund.
Just my take.
Look AI has some major issues. But if we can use it correctly and responsibly then let’s do that. The problem is that so many are not doing this!
You know what really ticks me off? The fact that I can’t give YouTube more money the way I want to give it to them.
Yes, you heard me right. I want to give YouTube more money.

Why and what for? You ask?
YouTube Premium Family.
I currently have YouTube Premium with my Google Workspace account that is my daily driver for Google stuff. But because it’s Google Workspace, I can sign up for YouTube Premium Family. How the fuck does this make any sense?!
Came home from Vermont to the HVAC stuck at 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Didn’t matter how much we lowered the temp. The house stayed at 75. HVAC tech is coming out to day to check it out. But of course, they’re running late.
This is great for my anxiety. All I know is that I need to pick the kiddo up at middle school at 2pm. Might have to leave the tech in the house. Who knows.
